This page describes how the Website is managed with reference to the use of Cookies and other tracking tools, as well as the related processing of personal data of Users who consult it.

What are Cookies and other tracking tools

Cookies are small strings of text - which may include personal data (e.g. IP address, User name, e-mail address) and technical information (e.g. language settings, type of device) - that the visited Websites send to the User's terminal (Personal Computer or mobile device such as tablets or smartphones), where they are stored (e.g. in the memory of the browser), and then retransmitted to the same Website on the next visit. Cookies are used to perform functions such as computer authentication, session monitoring and information storage on Websites (without the use of Cookies some operations would be very complex or impossible to perform), also with reference to the identification of preferences based on the browsing experience. While browsing a Website, the User may also receive Cookies on his/her terminal that are managed and sent by different Websites or web servers (so-called "Third Parties"), on which some elements present on the Website he/she is visiting (e.g. images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) may reside.

There are also other tracking tools (e.g. the so-called "Fingerprinting", "Pixel Tag", "Plug-in") that, although using a different technology, allow to carry out treatments similar to those carried out by means of Cookies and achieve the same results. These tools, unlike Cookies, do not store information on the User's device and cannot be removed directly by the User through the browser settings; it is therefore necessary that the User avails him/herself of the right to revoke the authorization for their use through the functions made available on the Website by the Owner in order to review his/her choices.
