Whistleblowing: the internal system for reporting violations<\/h2>\n

\n T\u200bhe term whistleblower generally refers to someone who, having become aware of potentially unlawful acts or events in their work context, decides to report the same using the confidential and independent \u200bchannels set up by the company especially.
\n 
\nThe Unipol Group has adopted an\u00a0internal system for reporting<\/strong> violations\u00a0which aims to keep the whistleblower’s identity\u00a0confidential\u00a0<\/strong>and offer them\u00a0protection against any retaliation<\/strong>\u00a0resulting from the report, in line with whistleblowing legislation issued at a European and national level (most recently Legislative Decree 24 of 15 March 2023, transposing Directive (EU) 2019\/1937 into Italian law).
\n 
\nThe reporting system is formalised in a Group Procedure\u00a0which is available on this page<\/em>.
\n 
\nIn accordance with the Procedure, Unipol and the other Group Companies have established\u00a0dedicated channels\u00a0managed by autonomous and independent structures, through which it is possible to report conduct, acts or omissions \u2013 including any well-founded suspicions \u2013 that whistleblowers may become aware of in their work context and which they believe may constitute a violation of the rules governing the activities carried out by the Group Companies. If they prefer, whistleblowers have the option of using similar channels set up at the Parent Company.

\nThe\u00a0structures appointed\u00a0for receiving and managing reports, the\u00a0means\u00a0for submitting the same \u2013 in writing, verbally or face-to-face \u2013 and the process for managing the reports received are defined in the Procedure, which should be referred to for further details.
\n 
\nIn particular, all whistleblowers may use the specific\u00a0IT Platform\u00a0\u2013\u00a0available at this link<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 which guarantees the confidentiality of their identity using computerised methods.

\nUpon the occurrence of certain conditions provided for by legislation, it is possible to send\u00a0external reports directly to the National Anti-Corruption Authority\u00a0(ANAC). Information on the channels, procedures and grounds for sending external reports is illustrated in the Procedure.
